Wetherby Golf Club had an old and tired existing kitchen with a central cooking island that was impractical in terms of usable space and access. The brief from the customer was to survey the existing equipment (with a view to retaining as much as possible) and to produce a new layout design with a relocated cookline and dishwash area that allowed for better use of space within the same area.
The cookline was switched from existing ‘island type’ to a ‘wall type’. This meant removing and disposing of the existing kitchen ventilation system and manufacturing and supplying a new kitchen ventilation system.
Much of the existing equipment was retained and designed alongside the new equipment being introduced. The final outcome was a far more practical kitchen space allowing the golf club to increase their food offering.
