This is a popular and well-established Sheffield pub famed for its homemade pies.
The Nottingham House specializes in and prides itself on its homemade pies. The whole food offering is therefore based on this. The pastry and fillings are all prepared fresh within the kitchen and the pies are served with mash, mushy peas, chips and gravy.
When we initially surveyed the site, it was clear that the existing kitchen was incredibly small and struggling with the demand. It was also very difficult for the staff to work efficiently in the confined space.
It was decided that an extension to the kitchen would help alleviate the pressure. Our brief was to design a layout that used both existing and new equipment. At the same time we supplied and installed 2 x new extraction canopies with their associated ducting, fans and gas interlock.
Attached is a copy of the approved layout drawing and images of the completed work.
